Kimberly Felton recently accepted the Family Services Coordinator (FSC) position at Renaissance Academy and is very excited to be given the opportunity to contribute to this team. Kimberly resides in the City of Rochester with her husband and two children. Mrs. Felton comes to us from St. John Fisher College, where she served for 10-years in the Higher Education Opportunity Program office. She also worked at Nazareth College for three years in the Department of Education.
In her role as FSC, Kimberly is responsible for assisting families in identifying available resources and service providers, facilitating the RAFFA meetings, coordinating our parent/family volunteers and assisting with RA’s recruitment efforts. Kimberly will also serve as the liaison between school and parents.
Mrs. Felton loves helping others find resources that will assist in meeting their needs. She is excited about the prospect of working with our Renaissance families and being of assistance. Kimberly hopes to see many of you at our RAFFA meetings this year to discuss issues that affect you and your student as well as plan events for the upcoming year. Lastly, it is her desire to have each family volunteer at Renaissance Academy in some capacity. Kimberly strongly believes that RA is not just a community, we are family, and when your child sees you giving back and helping at their school it shows that you are invested in their education.
