Hello RA parents and guardians:
We hope you are enjoying the start of your summer! We are very excited about the possibilities the next school year will bring.
Last week, a hard copy was mailed to families that included the student’s grade level and the name of their classroom teacher. If you did not receive the letter please contact the school for this information.
We expect all families to attend one of the back to school orientations to ensure we have open lines of communication and start the year on the same page.
If you have a child who is in kindergarten and also a child(ren) returning to RA, please choose whichever session works best for you. All parents/guardians must attend one orientation.
Orientation Dates and Times:
● New to RA and Kindergarten Family Orientation: Wednesday, August 18 from 4-5pm
● Returning to RA Family Orientation: Thursday, August 19 from 4-5pm or 5:45-6:45pm
If you are unable to attend or have any questions you can reach the front office at 585-225-4200. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in August!
Sincerely,
Cait Loury, Ed.D. Kristin Loftus

Anywhere Games That Only Require Your Kids' Brains
Hi RA Families!
Wouldn't you like some handy games that require nothing?
Nothing from the store, nothing from the house?
Check out the three articles linked to cool games and resources in the email below – and the fourth in PostScript! - for activities that require (mostly) nothing but an active brain!
It's not quite true that your kids don't anything to play these games.
They do need:
their brains.
And for some of them, they might need a pencil or a coin or something. But for the most part, these games will give kids the opportunity to have old-school fun while also boosting their brainpower!
So keep these games on hand to fill in those spare moments or when you just need something to pass the time.
26 Memory games
15 Brain games
20 Waiting games
That should get everyone through the summer!
Happy playing,
Renaissance Academy
P.S.
For need-nothing games that get kids moving outside try these 10 tag games that will tire them out!
