Good Morning Families-
Friday, February 5 will be school picture makeup day! If your child did not have his/her school picture taken in the fall, he/she will have it taken on Friday. If you would like to, you can order pictures using this website and code:
mylifetouch.com

If your child will not be in the building on Friday, you can call the front office to schedule an appointment to have his/her photo taken. Appointments are available between 11:15am and noon. Call 585-225-4200.

As a reminder, tonight at 6 pm, in partnership with Achievement First, the New York Charter Schools Association will host “Public Health In Our Communities Forum: What You Need to Know about the COVID-19 Vaccine.”
We hope you will join us as we address questions and considerations regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. Featured speakers include Dr. Lekeyah Wilson, Rochester Regional Health; Jasmine Travers, AGPCNP-BC CCRN Ph.D. RN and Assistant Professor at NYU; NY Senator Julia Salazar, SD 18; NY Assemblymember Latrice Walker, AD 55; Dr. Lina Finlan, St. Peter's Hospital; and Wilma Alvarado-Little, NYS Department of Health.

During the week of January 24 - January 30, 2021, Renaissance Academy will join thousands of schools, homeschool groups, organizations, across the country in celebrating National School Choice Week (NSCW).
NSCW is held every January and shines a spotlight on effective education options for children. The goal of NSCW is to raise awareness about the K-12 education options available to children and families while spotlighting the benefits of school choice.
Renaissance Academy, let’s show our school pride and our families’ right to choose by participating in the activities listed below during the week of January 24th - 30th.
RA's National School Choice Events:
Monday, January 25th & Thursday, January 28th
Chose an "Activity Sheet" to share with your class
Tuesday, January 26th & Friday, January 29th
Give students construction paper or note cards & ask them to write notes to their parents, thanking them for choosing RA
Wednesday, January 27th
“Virtual Yellow Day” students and teachers wear yellow clothing or accessories
Thursday, January 28th
Virtual Coffee and Conversation with the Principal and Asst. Principal
